‘[The kitten] was outside in the rain’: Lone male cat rescues a smol feral kitten, adopting the baby, forcing his mom to keep it furrever (VIDEO)

As we know, the Cat Distribution System is a wild and untamable force that bestows cats and kittens into the lives of their hoomans without notice or consent. When a cat is delivered to you by CDS, you do not question it, you do not fight it– that’s your cat now. But sometimes a house cat that you already own will somehow manage to take control of the CDS, bringing fate straight to your front door against your will. In this case, one rogue cat, a once-feral male with a hankering for being a pawrent, took complete control over cat distribution when he snuck out of the house on a stormy dark night. Although he was used to being outdoors, since he was a feral rescue himself, his cat-mom was worried he might get a little too chilly out there in the rain. As she called for him and looked around outside, she noticed her cat had discovered a delivery from the Cat Distribution System that simply could not be ignored: a smol baby kitten, soaked to the bone and shivering in the cold. So what was a cat mom supposed to do? Scroll for the full video of how this catto found his very own baby out in the rain, forcing his mama to keep and care for him just like she did when he was a bebe. Former Feral Joey Has Funny Reaction Meeting Butterbean the Kitten

Can Feral Cats Be Tamed

Feral cats are different from stray cats. Stray cats are usually the product of a person’s irresponsibility. Irresponsibility could be defined in two ways when it comes to strays: dumping a cat to fend for itself and/or neglecting to spay and neuter their cats.
