There are probably so many reasons and explanations that you can give here, but one thing is for sure, it is a compliment. The fact that this precious cat momma trusts you – and your baby – enough to put her kittens there is basically like a declaration of love, and that’s… adorable.

Actually, two things are for sure: this is love and this is the cutest thing ever. It’s double the cuteness. And explosion of cuteness. Cat plus baby plus cat babies… consider us fainted. The cuteness was too much to handle.

Font - GOLO kalimdore. 3 days ago In cat colonies all the mother cats co parent. It's actually the main basis of cat colonies. They will mix kittens from litters together, pick them up and move them to other mums, and every mother will nurse every other one's kittens. It's just a big communal thing. So she's just instinctually doing that. Baby is baby, babies go next to babies. Reply Share 6.2k

I think she'll be a foster fail because she's my baby's bestie Reply Share 6.8k

Font - SolarLunix 3 days ago I'm no expert but I think your baby has been adopted by your cat. Mama can't move the big baby so she moves all the small ones to keep everyone together. 18.0k Reply Share Nevorek 3 days ago So what you're saying is that in addition to thinking we are terrible hunters who need help catching prey, cats are also judging our parenting skills by just taking over our babies? Font - Pancakegoboom . 3 days ago There was a parent posting in one of the baby subs a while back. She was freaking out because her cat kept bringing her 6 mth old, headless lizards. Just the baby. And the cat kept dropping them right in front of the baby within grabbing reach. When she took the lizard away the cat was pissed and would bring another.

Font - As a community we banded together and figured that the cat was obviously trying to feed the baby. In the cat world when kittens start roaming and exploring its time to teach them how to hunt and eat. Starting with dead prey to study and play with before moving on to live prey. So the cat was most likely concerned that her stupid pet humans weren't teaching the tiny human how to hunt, and that they were starving the baby. So the top

Font - suggestion was to get on the ground, in front of the cat, and show the cat that they were indeed feeding her. Since the cat was insisting the baby learn how to eat, it was recommended to get some of those Gerber Puffs and put them on the floor so the baby would grab and eat them. In front of the cat. So the cat could see the baby was in fact, not starving.

Font - Within 24 hrs she posted back saying the cat had stopped with the lizards and started screaming at the cupboard where the snacks were every few hours, because baby needed food. Cat was just trying to be a good Mama to the tiny human. Reply Share 3.9k
