A pregnant, homeless cat was thrilled to find a safe haven, especially after giving birth to four adorable kittens the first night she was there.

It all began when the adorable pregnant cat was rescued from the streets and brought to the California-based RSQ209 animal rescue facility.

The poor cat was in terrible shape, covered in fleas, and it was clear that she required immediate medical treatment.

Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals made the decision to bring her to their facilities and immediately locate a foster family for her as a result.

He made his way to the home of Angela Su, a shelter volunteer who had pledged to care for the cat despite knowing very little about her situation.

She started working right away to get rid of the bothersome fleas while also receiving treatment for other medical conditions. The adorable kitten was given the name “Iris,” and after moving into her new home, she transformed into a devoted ball of fur who petted everyone as she was taken care of.

Everyone anticipated that Iris would give birth in about a week after she moved into her new house, but to her astonishment, something unexpected occurred.

“To my astonishment, a little time after she arrived, she began to experience labor pains and gave birth to four healthy, adorable kittens. She may have realized that we would take care of her and her babies and that she was finally safe from her.

Iris was happy to have found a secure and nurturing environment to raise her children after having a difficult start in life.

He could now look forward to a warm, comfy bed draped in silky sheets as well as a delectable buffet for his meals.
