Most of the time, animals decide who they want to be their humans permanently, or occasionally, life itself brings together two souls who were meant to be together.
Two Durham Police Department officers from North Carolina conducted their patrol on Wednesday of last week much like any other day. They had no idea that a tiny emergency would forever alter their lives and that they would also save a kitten’s life at the moment.
While on patrol at Dawkins Street and Linwood Avenue, policemen JN Rowsey and EL Masnik came upon a little ball of fur that drew their attention.

The two cops made the decision to pull over and assist the unfortunate young stray cat in finding his mother cat or his potential family and home. Officers started looking around the area for a mother cat in the hopes of finding the cat’s family.
It became evident that the kitten was abandoned and had nowhere to go after looking for a time but finding no one who claimed the small one.

The police posted the following on Facebook:
Officers looked around the area in an effort to locate the kitten’s mother or owner, but were unsuccessful.
JN Rowsey carried the cat to the patrol car and wrapped him in a towel to calm him down since the officers could not leave the kitten to its destiny. The officer cradled the cat and gave him plenty of caressing and embraces while he helped the animal calm down. The kitten was still terrified.

The cat quickly emerged from his shell, made himself at home with his rescuer, and concluded that climbing upon his shoulders was the best place to remain. The cat, perched on the officer’s shoulders, shouted his lovely meows as if he were ready to flee the streets.
The kitten decided to adopt her as his new human mother after spending some time at Rowsey’s side, and she was unable to refuse.

The cop made the decision to adopt the small tabby after falling head over heels in love with him. He immediately rose to the status as the world’s prettiest companion.
The mother brought the little child to the veterinarian for a regular examination, who gave him a clean bill of health and gave him the name Dobby. The kitten was determined to be about six weeks old after examinations.
This is not the only cat Rowsey has saved, the officer’s family claims. Dobby was the second cat she had saved.
