Unfortunately, the couple had no method of contacting a shelter or any other agency that may help them avoid abandoning their pet.
The puppy was soon seen wandering the streets alone, but his love and devotion to the old couple was so strong that he refused to leave the building.
He was usually spotted there, on the front of the same apartment block where he had resided with his old masters for a time.
