Plumber Shows Up To Fix Toilet — And Is Supervised By A Cat The Whole Time

Jax was adopted when he was a kitten, and he’s always enjoyed hanging around in his family’s bathroom. He’s particularly fond of water and must always keep an eye on everybody who comes into contact with the shower or the toilet, just in case.
“During showers, he would stand or lie outside and wait for you to finish, then he leaps in and attempts to catch the lingering drips of water from the showerhead as they fall,” Jax’s mother, Megan Russell, told The Dodo. “When you take a bath, he will jump up on the ledge and gaze at the water, occasionally putting his paw down to touch it.” He’s particularly fascinated by the bath emptying. Before he can go, he needs to watch it drain all the way.”
Jax usually only hangs out in the bathroom when there are other people in there and exciting things are going on, so when the plumber came over to fix the toilet, he was ecstatic.
While the plumber worked on the toilet, Jax sat in the sink, locked his gaze on the plumber, and refused to move until the job was finished…
… an hour and a half later.
Jax gazed at the plumber while he worked, and while he switched positions a few times to get more comfortable, he never took his gaze away from the plumber and took his job very seriously.
Russell stated, “He stayed in the sink the entire time.” “The plumber was extremely sweet about Jax keeping an eye on him the entire time!” He stated that he had to deal with pets on a variety of professions. Cats, he added, generally ran away or hid, whilst dogs were normally the more social pets.”
Jax disproved this preconception, despite the fact that he wasn’t attempting to be social. He was only attempting to carry out his duties as house bathroom supervisor, which required him to be there at all times to ensure that no one fell in.
