Davey is a cute orange cat that was found abandoned and barely alive on the side of a road in Palm City, Florida. He was able to offer the essential attention on time thanks to the assistance of a kind-hearted person who took him to the non-profit organization Caring Fields Felines.

“I just couldn’t say no,” said Pauline Glover, the animal rescue center’s director. According to Boredpanda, Davey was then transferred to Savanna Animal Hospital in Jensen Beach, Florida.

Because of his bad condition, an X-ray was taken right away, which revealed that one of his cervical vertebrae was shattered and needed to be cast.

Davey has matured in a great way over the course of a few weeks, and he is becoming stronger and stronger.

When the cast is removed, he will begin physical therapy and then look for a family that will provide him with all the love he requires.

Davey spends the day at the office of the veterinarian who is in charge of overseeing him, and at night, a veterinary technician is in charge of transporting him home.

Davey has formed a strong bond with the veterinarian’s companion animal, a three-year-old dog called Oakley, during his time at the rescue facility.

“Oakley adores his adopted brother Davey and is always at his side when he cries,” Caring Fields Felines writes on his Facebook page.
