Ricky, a 17-year-old Siamese cat, enjoys getting attention and isn’t afraid to ask for it.

Fortunately, his family is more than willing to help.

But, for better or worse, our lives frequently include other duties in addition to gratifying our feline pals. Ricky seemed to be unconvinced that such a condition of circumstances can be used as an explanation.

Ricky, on the other hand, has excellent cause to be a little demanding. He suffers arthritis, so being stroked makes him feel more at ease. As a result, Ricky’s needs for regular petting have recently gotten more pressing.

Fortunately, his human family was resourceful.

Debbie Morse retrieved a sling intended for a sprained arm and placed Ricky in it.

“He follows my mom around the house miaowing until she rubs him so she felt this might help,” her daughter Felicity Morse posted last week.

Would Ricky, on the other hand, accept the sling as a solution?

Yes, indeed. His tummy is right next to his human’s stroking palm. He quickly relaxed as his eyes narrowed to that self-satisfied feline squint.

Felicity Morse told The Dodo, “[My mother] designed this sling so he feels comforted and less lonely.” “The warmth and cuddling are quite beneficial to his arthritis.”

Ricky has been a member of the family his entire life, and he is accustomed to being pampered and engaged in almost everything they do.

Thankfully, Ricky’s family understands that just because he’s getting older, he shouldn’t be left behind.

Debbie Morse told The Dodo, “He’s very calm and relaxed.” “He’s worth more than his weight in gold.”
