Cat Won’t Stop Yelling Until Mom Plays His Favorite Movie

Calvin has never been scared to express himself since he was adopted at the age of nine months.
“He is obstinate and cheeky, but extremely loving and enjoys the company of people,” Calvin’s mother, Olivia Theobald, told The Dodo.
“The Aristocats” was always Theobald’s favorite Disney movie as a kid, and when she recently watched it, she couldn’t help but notice Calvin was totally entranced.
“I realized he was watching,” Theobald observed. “Calvin adores other cats, and I believe he enjoys it when the cats in the movie meow.”
Calvin watched the entire film and appeared to like it — but Theobald had no clue it was going to become an addiction.
Calvin would meow like crazy every time she tried to put on another movie after that until she put on “The Aristocats.” He’d determined it was his all-time favorite film, and there was no turning back.
Theobald couldn’t stop himself from posting a video of Calvin on TikTok to check whether anybody had ever seen something like his passion before, and everyone fell in love with the Disney cat. They recommended that Theobald watch additional cat/animal-themed Disney movies to see how he reacted, and she immediately began testing.
“We tried ‘The Lion King,’ which he enjoyed, and he likes films of squirrels and birds,” Theobald said.
Calvin, it turns out, just enjoys viewing movies of other animals, animated or not.
“I think he enjoys the noises the most — particularly meowing, which is why he adores ‘The Aristocats,’” Theobald said. “Whenever I watch kitten or cat movies, he begins hunting for them!”
Even though Calvin enjoys watching animal movies and videos of all types, “The Aristocats” will always be his favorite, and there’s little question he’ll beg to see it again and again.
