Kitten Was Abandoned By His Family In A Shelter For Being “Too Cute”

Jacque is a kitten that was abandoned in a shelter by the people he cared about the most because he was “too pretty” and always demanding attention. Jacque was three years old when he was given to Michigan Cat Rescue, and all of his rescuers wanted to find him a home that would provide him with all of the love he required.

This small kid was so distressed by his unexpected desertion that he became ill.

Founder and President of Michigan Cat Rescue, Nancy Hutchinson, said:

“He went a few days without eating. I believe he was perplexed and disappointed by the rejection. Stress can be devastating to people and animals alike, and it decimated his immune system. He was suffering from a bad cold, and his eyes were swollen and infected ».

Unfortunately, this is not Jacques’ first experience with desertion; according to The Dodo, his original adoptive father left in May 2016 when he was 7 months old and opted not to take him with him.

Nancy stated,

“He was discovered in an abandoned home. It was placed there by someone who didn’t care. The real estate agent discovered him and took him to the shelter. Regrettably, this occurs frequently.

After a while, no one seemed interested in adopting him, so he was put on the euthanasia list. But it was Nancy’s visit that saved his life.

She said:

“I felt terrible for him when I saw him in his cage. I went into his cage and… For a time, I sat on the floor with him, and he sat on my lap. ‘Wow,’ I thought. What a lovely kitty.’ “.

This woman decided to take the adorable cat to Michigan Cat Rescue, where he was adopted by the person who had abandoned him previously.

Nancy stated,

“She stated she didn’t want him anymore after approximately a year.”

I can’t stand it when he tries to sit on my lap all the time. I’ll have to repay you; this isn’t what I agreed to.

The shelter decided to post the sensitive Jacques’ tale on its Facebook page in the hopes of finding him the ideal home, and the pleas came in quickly. Nobody could believe Jacques had been abandoned for such a ridiculous cause.

There were almost 2,600 likes and 1,200 comments on this post. Everyone was pulling for this adorable kitten, hoping that she would find a loving family to adopt her.

Fortunately, Liz Myziuk entered Jacque’s life and drastically transformed it. This mom realized from away that adopting him would be a wise choice. She received word a few weeks after submitting her adoption application that she could bring Jacque to her home.

Nancy stated,

“We met Liz and her husband at one of our veterinary facilities and assigned them to the same room. I let him out of the cage and he took a few steps around the room. They then scooped him up and placed him on his lap, where he remained. They were so in love with him that they were sobbing and delighted.”

“I left him with them in the room, and they came out and said, ‘We want to give him a home.’” ‘We’d want to take it.’ Then I began to weep. I was in ecstasy. I believe Jacque was relieved as well. I believe he realized he had finally received the happy ending from him.”

According to Michigan Cat Rescue,

“Jacque is adored, spoiled, and finally at home with Liz and her family.” “We are ecstatic for him.”

According to Love Meow, after everything that transpired, Jacque finally found the appropriate location for him and even received a new name, Giuseppe.
