Cat Has Opinions About Quarantine Disrupting Her “Me” Time

Humans, it appears, aren’t the only ones whose normal habits have been thrown off by the current need to stay indoors.

Just ask Mylee, this cat.

Mylee usually spends her days lying around alone in peace while her family is at work or out and about, giving her complete control of the house. That’s plainly a luxury she’s grown to appreciate – and anticipate.

But then something happened.

In light of the continuing coronavirus epidemic, Mylee’s owners, Rae Jordan and her family, have began staying at home. This is, of course, novel for the cat that thrives on alone.

And, as you’ll see, Mylee isn’t hesitant to express her thoughts on the subject:

Mylee was understandably irritated when her peaceful time was unexpectedly interrupted. Her family, though, understands.

“I’m sure everyone feels that way when they’re shut up at home!” Jordan informed The Dodo.

Fortunately, Mylee has discovered that giving up her “me” time has certain advantages, including greater opportunity for attention and love from people who love her the most.

“She’s definitely gotten used to it,” Jordan says. “She’s really cozy with my mom when she works from home.”

Who knows, right? After all, Mylee could become accustomed to the shift.
