Grateful Rescued Cat Constantly Pees In The Shape Of A Heart

Snowball wasn’t sure what to make of his foster family when he first met them.

His original family had to relocate and couldn’t take him with them, so he was surrendered to A Mini Rescue. When his foster family welcomed him home, they could see he was bewildered as to why he hadn’t been reunited with his biological family.

They attempted to make him as comfortable as possible, but only two days after he arrived in his foster home, the bewildered cat managed to escape via a window.

“We looked everywhere, contacted local agencies and organisations, but to no avail,” Snowball’s foster mother, Ryoko Komine, told The Dodo. “Snowball had vanished.”

Snowball’s foster family was sad as the weeks passed, and they began to lose faith that their precious, bewildered cat would ever return home.

Then they got the call, two months later. Snowball had been discovered.

“Apparently, someone heard a cat in distress,” Komine added, “but the animal had fled and fallen into a sewer.” “The RSPCA was contacted, and they rescued him, checked his microchip, and then contacted us.”

Snowball was discovered about half a mile from his foster home, and it looked that he had not been adequately fed or cared for during his absence. His foster family hurried him to the vet right away since he was so unwell. Snowball’s chances of life were 50/50 at first, according to the veterinarian.

Snowball, on the other hand, remained a fighter throughout it all, and he gradually began to heal.

Snowball is doing much better today, and his foster family determined a week ago that he was a foster failure and adopted him into their family, ensuring that he would never have to move again.

Komine added, “He’s finally getting acclimated to us and our other animals, and he’s really lovely.” “When my customers are at my home salon, he constantly follows us about and loves to sit near the window.”

Snowball has adjusted well to his foster home, despite his initial shock and uncertainty when he initially came. He’s appreciative to his new family for their patience and care during his long healing process, and he loves to remind them of it every now and again.

Komine was going about her business about a month after Snowball returned home when she saw something unusual in his litter box: he’d peed in the shape of a heart. Snowball was still settling in at the time, so it was difficult to determine how he was doing, but his mother opted to take the heart as a beautiful indication.

Komine explained, “I observed this heart-shaped urine and believed it was his thank you message.”

Snowball now pees in the shape of a heart on a regular basis, which his family adores. They understand how much Snowball loves them now, and they love him back, and it’s almost as if he’s giving them continuous — but weird — reminders of his gratitude for all they’ve done for him, including saving his life.
