Clever Cat Visits Store Every Day To Ask People To Buy Him Treats

Tania Sants observed a specific someone lurking out front of a store near her house in Mexico the other week.
It was a white cat sitting by itself. His appearance, though, was not at all random.
As Sants soon discovered, the smart cat had picked the location with a specific aim in mind.
Sants was astonished to discover him leading her into the store after welcoming the feline with a few pets. The cat blocked her way as she began walking down an aisle. He was herding her to a certain region of the store, it turned out.
They kept the cat treats in there. She, of course, bought him some.
Sants returned to the store and looked for the cat, but he wasn’t there.
This time, he was waiting for her inside. Where exactly? Yes, you guessed it.
Speaking with store personnel, Sants discovered that the cat visits the store every day, attempting to get people to buy him treats. After then, he always leaves, but no one knows where he goes.
Did the cat have a place to live? Sants was adamant on finding out.
He was there again on her next trip to the store. Sants chose to record his creative persuading approaching the cat reward display this time:
This time, after purchasing the cat’s preferred treats, Sants discreetly followed him. He eventually settled in a vacant spot off the road; after all, he was a stray cat, and that was the closest he had to a home.
That night, Sants resolved to make him a better offer.
“I brought him home and adopted him,” Sants told The Dodo.
Nobody knew how long the cat had been homeless, but living on the streets had not been easy for him. His fur was matted, and he’d lost his tail.
But he had a family now, thanks to Sants and her other cat.
Sants has returned to speak with store staff since then, just in case a potential owner was looking for him.
“They stated no one had come searching for him,” Sants explained. “They expressed gratitude to me for bringing him home.”
Sants did make a few purchases before leaving, this time without being asked.
“I bought him a lot of treats,” she explained. “He can trust that I always will.”
