Cat Is Obsessed With Getting Pets From Every Delivery Guy She Meets

Tuna like being the center of attention.

Tuna, a 6-year-old cat who normally relies on her family for petting and cuddling, devised a brilliant strategy to increase the number of people who pet her each day during the onset of the epidemic.

What’s the source of all this additional love? Every parcel delivery driver that comes to her residence.

Tuna’s mother, Cinthia Santos, told The Dodo, “When COVID started, we all decided to work from home and we started ordering a lot – our meals, our groceries, items to make our house more habitable.” “Because we were working from home, Tuna’s sleep routine was interrupted, so she walked outdoors throughout the day and began hanging out with the delivery guys.”

Tuna has always been a strong, self-reliant cat, but she also has a gentler side.

Santos explained, “She doesn’t want to be alone.” “She wants to go to whichever room everyone else is in.” She enjoys physical attention when it is given to her on her terms. She enjoys being handled, petted, and scratched.”

Tuna likes to lie in the sun by her front entrance. When she’s outside, she’s always tracked by a GPS collar and her family’s Nest doorbell camera, which is where Santos first observed Tuna romancing an Amazon delivery man, the first of many suitors.

“She just began going out a lot more after she realized, ‘Wow, people come here and I can get them to pat me,’” Santos said. “It happens on a regular basis. We didn’t place her in that situation on purpose. She’ll meow if she wants to come in.”

Tuna expresses her desire for a pet whenever she sees a delivery person arriving.

Tuna will ultimately get her way, even if the delivery guy isn’t initially interested in her.

Santos described her as “very persistent.” “She’ll hurl herself on the floor, against the wall, and whip her tail around,” says the narrator. She has a variety of tiny tricks under her sleeve.”

“All she wants is for them to pet her,” she explained. “She enjoys having her cheeks rubbed, so that’s her entire goal.”
