Guy Discovers Just What His Cat Is Up To While He’s Sleeping

Tormund is a friendly (but assertive) orange cat that isn’t afraid to go after what he wants, regardless of the hour.

And he’s not going to accept “zzz” as an answer.

Aaron Brown adopted Tormund from a local rescue group a few months ago. While having a cat around for companionship has been enjoyable, Brown was not prepared for the impact his new pet would have on his nights.

Tormund, it turns out, believes sleepy time to be a competitive activity.

Tormund enjoys waging playful war on Brown when the lights go out, pawing and pouncing upon his sleepy owner as if to keep the Sandman at bay.

Brown decided to record a video to show his friends what it’s like to spend the night with Tormund:

Brown was well aware that his cat was active at night, but seeing how active he was came as a surprise.

Tormund may not be the best bedmate for unbroken sleep, but Brown wouldn’t have it any other way, attributing the behavior to a display of affection.
