Cat Tries To Climb On Top Of Microwave And Gets Very Stuck

Skittles has always been a mischievous feline, and she believes that every day should be an adventure. She enjoys exploring her house for new objects to climb and places to hide, and her mother finds it difficult to keep up with her antics.

“She is constantly into things, and if you hear a smash in the house, you can immediately assume it’s her looking for mischief to get in,” Skittles’ mother, Jamie Vos, told The Dodo.

Skittles is practically a tiny acrobat, and there isn’t a part of the home she hasn’t tried to climb. She like climbing all over the kitchen countertops and leaping onto her owners’ shoulders from a great height, and she just realized that the microwave was another interesting obstacle course to attempt.

Skittles attempted to hop on top of the microwave in search of a new challenge…

… and got a bit stuck in the process.

She dangled from the microwave for a while, swinging around and trying to figure out how to get to the top — before ultimately slipping and falling back down onto the counter, a bit ashamed that she hadn’t figured it out.

“She seems to find the most difficult method to accomplish things and then gets stuck,” Vos remarked.

Of course, Skittles will attempt to climb the microwave once more — as well as every other potentially climbable object in the home. That’s simply the way she is.

“She knocked over everything in my bathroom shelf while attempting and failing to climb them,” Vos said.
