Baba Ganoush became a member of his family when he was a kitten. He is now seven years old and has spent many beautiful years connecting with his family, including his human older sisters. When you have siblings, you rarely have any privacy, so one day, as Baba Ganoush was doing his business, his sisters noticed he was simply looking at the wall the entire time — and felt that was a little dull for their favorite cat.

The girls, ages 10 and 12, felt that Baba Ganoush needed something to do while he went to the potty, so they made him his own newspaper and taped it to the wall over his litter box.

“They’ve made a couple concerns so far, and it started when we moved lately,” Baba Ganoush’s father, Jarrod Krieger, told The Dodo. “Probably in the early October.” They are all the ideas of the girls.”

When Baba Ganoush sits in his litter box now, he’s welcomed by a colorful newsletter with compelling headlines and terrific content, articles about “Hurricane Purma” and elegant show cats

Baba Ganoush’s time in the bathroom is now MUCH more interesting than it was before, thanks to his imaginative sisters. Even though Baba Ganoush probably doesn’t care about what’s going on in the cat world, his sisters adore making newspapers for him, and that’s all that counts.
