Rengar is just 6 months old, yet he and his father have been closest friends for the most of his life. The couple is really close and enjoys doing everything together, so when Rengar was going through a difficult period, his father discovered the right method to help him feel less alone.

Rengar’s and his father’s personalities are very similar. They may both be obstinate and dislike being told what to do, but they can also be quite loving when they want to be, and they make an excellent combination. The couple is rarely apart, save while napping…

Rengar was not thrilled about having to wear a “cone of shame” after being neutered. His father hugged with him and did everything to cheer him up, but Rengar was still depressed — so his father had the brilliant idea.

He was able to create a big, person-sized cone for himself in roughly 30 seconds…

… he wore it to show Rengar that he wasn’t alone in this.

“Rengar was perplexed at first, but when he learned his dad was also wearing the ‘cone of shame,’ he felt more at ease,” Rengar’s mother, Sarah Proctor, told The Dodo.

Rengar seemed to relax a little more after seeing that his best buddy was also wearing a cone, and he didn’t appear to dislike it as much after that. After all, he and his father do everything together, so it couldn’t be that horrible if his father was also wearing a cone.

Rengar loves his father more than anything else, so as long as they’re constantly together, he’ll be OK.
