Tara is the creator of The Mad Catters in Perth, Australia, a cat rescue center. She was phoned in early December when a little cat was discovered in a house’s garden. He was apparently 4 or 5 days old, with no indication of a mother around.

They searched for the mother and the chance of other kittens nearby, but they discovered no evidence of any more felines. While the mother was being searched, the small orange kitten was warmed up and transferred to Tara’s foster home.

The kitten found in the garden was called Cobain, and it grew swiftly, as it had a huge appetite.

Tara stated:

“He weighed 173 grams and was  immediately sucking his formula like a pro.”

Little Cobain was cared for 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and was given a warm bed and nutritious food. His determination was unshakeable, and he thrived spectacularly.

Tara remembers:

“He cheerfully shouted at me for his meal every two hours.”

Cobain became a spoilt brat who couldn’t bear the thought of being alone, wailing uncontrollably until he was wrapped in a blanket and soothed to sleep by his caregivers.

Tara believed that having a surrogate feline family would be very helpful for the orange kitten, so she set out on a search for a cat that would accept the cute Cobain.

Cinque, a gorgeous cat, has been transported to another shelter called Impound Feline Rescue. The pregnant cat gave birth to a litter of five kittens, and the rescue organization agreed to assist as soon as they learnt about Cobain’s story.

They took the tiny kid to meet Mama Cinque, hoping she would accept him.

Impound Feline Rescue workers stated:

“Because he wasn’t much older than Cinque’s children, I hoped Cinque would take this little ginger as an extra mouth to feed. To everyone’s surprise, tiny Cobain was instantly welcomed into the gray and white gang, and the litter of five was expanded to a litter of six.”

Cinque welcomed tiny Cobain into her family right away and lavished him with all the mother love he need. Cobain slept that night in the care of his new mother.

Tara continued, saying:

“Cinque is such a kind cat mom that she immediately accepted him. He will now have siblings and a mother to acquire critical social and behavioral skills.

The cute cat has grown up and enjoys eating with his new siblings thanks to his new mother’s care. Despite the fact that Cobain is slightly larger than his siblings, he prefers cuddling with them, and the smaller kittens adore using him as a cushion.

Gone are the pleas for attention and pampering; now Cobain has a loving mother and siblings, and everyone at the shelter is relieved that the introduction of Cinque to young Cobain went so successfully.

According to one shelter employee:

“If at all possible, it is nearly always better for kittens to be fed and nurtured by a mother kitty rather than being raised by hand.”
