Jiggy’s story begins with an act of unthinkable cruelty that transformed into a tale of resilience and love. At just three weeks old, this tiny soul was discarded like refuse, thrown from a moving car in a trash bag.

Fate intervened in the form of a vigilant veterinary technician who witnessed the horrific scene. Without hesitation, she rescued the fragile kitten and rushed her to an animal hospital, where destiny would introduce Jiggy to Melody, the woman who would become her devoted human mother.

The trauma of that day left its mark on Jiggy, resulting in a head injury that would affect her physical development.

While most cats grow to full size, Jiggy’s body remained perpetually kitten-sized due to dwarfism. Yet, what she lacks in stature, she more than makes up for in personality and determination.

In Melody’s home, Jiggy reigns supreme, particularly when it comes to bedroom real estate.

Despite her tiny size, she has mastered the art of bed occupation, somehow managing to claim an entire mattress as her personal domain.

However, her independent spirit doesn’t prevent her from being a loving companion.

When the mood strikes, she’ll seek out Melody for cuddle sessions, though she maintains firm boundaries – especially when it comes to the dreaded ear-cleaning ritual.

Life in her forever home isn’t without its small challenges. Melody, with her big heart for animal rescue, occasionally brings home foster kittens from the streets.

While Jiggy initially regards these energetic newcomers with a mix of annoyance and skepticism, their playful nature often proves irresistible.

Recently, Jiggy celebrated her sixth birthday, marking another year of triumph over adversity. Six years of proving that physical limitations don’t define capability.
