Sometimes on a rough day, all you need is the warmth of a cat. And that can come in many forms. A reassuring paw is one of the favorites, so long as it doesn’t scratch deeper.
This older cat adopted by a Reddit user captivated their heart due to how reassuring their paw was. It was straight-up adorable and even looks adorable.
While the cat was keen on accepting its new owners, the owner’s other pet is having trouble accepting it. What the owner described as “a little demon of a tortie” was having trouble accepting the new cat into the house. Though the owner implied that he was working on it somehow.
Sometimes, the paw occurs when the cat felt like it wasn’t being given enough attention by them, sort of like a silent tapping. It’s both adorable and sad, though the owner reassures that the cat has been getting enough attention, provided the human activity doesn’t get in the way.

The cat’s name is Samwise, occasionally referred to as Sammy or “slam wise” and it is easy to see where the latter came from.
