Roll out the rainbows, it’s June! This month is all about celebrating and embracing the LGBTQ+ community. Our brilliant designers created a collection of toys that bring the joy of Pride to your pup! Not only are these toys cute as heck, but they also make a difference.

We will be donating a portion of all proceeds from the Pride collection to Kaleidoscope Youth Center based in Columbus, Ohio. Last year we donated $10,000 of collection proceeds, and are on pace to beat that this year! Each Pride toy your dog plays with will directly and positively impact the queer community.

Whether it be the four-legged kind or the human kind, I think we can all agree that there’s no better feeling in this world than helping others. That’s why we chose Kaleidoscope Youth Center as our donation partner. Founded in 1994, KYC is the largest and longest-standing organization in Ohio designed for and dedicated to supporting the local LGBTQIA+ youth population. The center is located in the heart of Columbus and not only provides a safe haven for queer youth, but also offers other amazing services such as programming, housing, and support throughout the entire state. With its dedicated volunteers (some of which are our very own BARK employees) and an experienced staff, their mission is to serve and support their community and partner with youth across all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Just like you made your new dog feel safe on the first day you brought them home, Kaleidoscope Youth Center creates a safe haven for hundreds of queer youth in need of community, acceptance, and belonging. The resources they provide help support individuals and groups in need of a friendly face or even a warm meal.

The Kaleidoscope Youth Center has an incredible staff that is dedicated to fostering an open, welcoming, and validating environment for anyone who walks through their doors. BARK is proud to be able to support an organization that positively impacts the lives of so many.
