If this story became a movie, I’m sure it would be called The Fast and The Furry-ous. The stars of the movie would be Louie the cat and Nachos the dog. These two have a marvelous way of getting around and TikTok users have fallen in love with the cute grey-and-white cat and brown-and-tan dog. Humom Shaina Culpepper, who lives in Lake Elsinore, California, and is a content strategist at the social media giant has shared several videos of this adorable pair on TikTok. And one video, in particular, has been “liked” more than 3.2 million times and shared more than 133,000 times!

The video shows Louie and Nachos tooling around in a pint-sized Jeep as delighted passersby look on. Nachos, wearing a banana suit and Louie looking dapper in a shirt has attracted lots of comments from TikTokers, Newsweek reports. It’s completely understandable because the video is cute as can be.

“Just what I needed to start the day!” noted one user. Another added, “this is so cute.”

It looks for all the world like Nachos is driving the car while Louie, his sidekick rests in the passenger seat. Amused TikTokers were impressed. “Probably a better driver than I am,” one noted. Another asked, “What’s his insurance monthly?”

And in the video below, we can see that Louie is also adept at this driving thing.

For many of us, videos like this can be soothing in a world so full of stress. Watching cute, funny videos can actually be good for our health. Looking at photos and videos of adorable animals can cut our stress levels by 50 percent, according to a 2020 study by the University of Leeds in the U.K.

Folks taking part in the story were asked to watch a 30-minute montage of cute animal photos and videos. Most of the participants were university students who were scheduled to take exams 90 minutes after the session. The rest were academic support staff who said they were feeling work stress. Before and after the content was aired, participants had their blood pressure and heart rate tested. As you might expect, there was a significant drop in their anxiety levels, proving that watching cute animals can indeed, lower our stress levels and make us feel better.

“It was clear that students were anxious ahead of their exams, with heart rates and blood pressure for most participants mildly elevated before our session took place,” researchers note. “Indeed, in some individuals, heart rate and blood pressure was even higher indicating a higher level of stress for those participants.

“Throughout the course of the session, heart rates and blood pressure fell across all individuals to a level that would be considered healthy and indicative of limited stress or anxiety,” they concluded.

Cute Videos Rule The Day.

I’m sure this was also true for TikTokers who were amused by Nachos’ seeming ability to steer the Jeep all on his own, with comments ranging from “That’d better be remote-controlled because ain’t no way dude,” to “Is he actually steering? Lol omg so cute.”

Louie and Nachos’ cute antics even led the popular online account We Rate Dogs which rates people’s dogs to comment: “Ok but the best part is when you said to back up and Nachos put the vehicle in reverse.”

And when they’re not tooling around, Louie and Nachos love to chillax at home. This makes for plenty of cute photos of course.
