Kitten Meets His Human Again After Being Lost For 14 Years In A Hurricane

Can you picture being apart from your cat for 14 years? Even the thought of it is heartbreaking, yet occasionally, fate bears the hardest of tests for animal lovers, particularly when nature exhibits its enormous power.

Thomas Jr., popularly known as T-2, was just 4 years old when his life took an entirely unexpected turn. He was a stunning caramel-colored cat. Prior to his house was devastated by the devastating Hurricane Jeanne in 2004, he lived peacefully with his human companion Perry Martin in Florida, United States.

It was the most destructive hurricane of 2004 and beyond comparison. The cat frightened and ran away from home, leaving no sign for his master to find him. The ensuing turmoil was quick.

After the storm passed, Perry launched a thorough hunt to locate his cat. He pleaded with the cosmos for another chance to meet his beloved T-2 since his heart had been crushed.

“I was in shock. I searched all over for it. Neighbors were looking for him. I merely searched in my spare time,” the man said.

The days of separation quickly grew into months, years, and even more than ten years as time went on. Perry was prepared to lose her pet after 14 long years of waiting and thought he had died away.

Even though he had lost all hope, a call from the previous vet of his pet made him smile again. A homeless cat with a microchip has been discovered.

The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast had saved the kitten, and the veterinarian was certain that it was unquestionably T-2. Perry, though, hesitated to accept the miracle that was taking place.

Perry decided to visit the association’s premises to see his alleged kitty in person despite his utter doubt. All of my reservations about him vanished there.

“I was certain he was no longer alive. I refused to believe it. fourteen years? But he was there. I recognized him the moment I saw his face,” the man added.
