Homeless Kitten Wins The Hearts Of The Family Who Found Her On The Street

Two days after being abandoned in a Washington, DC neighborhood, a couple found the sweet cat who is now known as Petunia (Alias Tuna). They made the decision to turn to the Humane Rescue Alliance for assistance so that the abandoned kitten may be adopted.

She was apparently abandoned there among a well-known cat colony by someone heartless.

Tuna was pretty restless right away. She enjoys cuddles and meows to attract people’s attention. She is just too cute.

She frequently sat on my lap when I was on business calls or working in my home office so I could keep her company.

Tuna had a strong bond with another resident cat named Ari as she grew older and her personality started to show. Ari stood by Tuna while Susie was occupied and unable to care for her.

When the kitten wasn’t napping, she would demand hugs and cuddles, which led to her being rather spoilt.

In order to feel comfortable while performing household duties, Susie carried Tuna in a pocket of her jumper.
