Liz Clark, a 38-year-old “pirate” who is highly motivated and self-described, decided to quit her job and set sail across the world in 2006. In San Diego, California, she worked as a waiter (United States). On the condition that she record her incredible travels across the world, Liz was granted a Cal 40 sailboat.

A 6-month-old cat was saved by “Captain Lizzy” in 2013 and later served as her second-in-command on her yacht. Amelia The Tropicat, a feline, did a good job of adjusting to life in the water.

Amelia excelled at hiking, enjoying lovely walks on the beach, and fishing from the side of the boat.

Liz enjoys Amelia’s companionship while she is on her journey around the globe; she has always believed that the kitty adds a sense of familiarity to the boat. Together, they traveled extensively in the South Pacific, Central America, and Mexico’s and Central America’s western coasts.

Liz has traveled in circles around French Polynesia’s islands and has spent time discovering Kiribati’s eastern islands. There are undoubtedly too many wonderful memories and events.

When Liz was nine years old and spent six months sailing with her family to the coast of Mexico, she first had the ambition to sail around the world.

Since then, Liz has been absolutely enthralled by the chance to experience nature and the chance to discover a new culture, in addition to the freedom of sailing on the wide sea.
