An adorable kitten in need of a family and a better life arrived to the Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA) in Arlington, Texas. Volunteers at the shelter quickly understood that the lonely cat needed the company of other cats to socialize.
At the time, Kolbe, a cat Lauren, a volunteer at the shelter, had fostered, was the finest prospect. The cat was now the house’s contented inhabitant. Kolbe has followed the same rescue route as the other kittens and has even assisted his mother in caring for other abandoned kittens.
The greatest foster homes were providing for this adorable 5-week-old boy, but since he was alone, he urgently needed a playmate.

The tabby cat, who had been abandoned and was given the name Lloyd, was a little wild and had a lot to learn. The single kitten syndrome, which causes the kitten to play rough in addition to having other behavioral problems, was showing symptoms in Kitten Lloyd. Socialization with other cats is always the best kind of assistance in situations like these.

When the wild kitty was hungry or came upon anything that piqued his intense attention, he was even more willing to flaunt his bold attitude. He started crying loudly and moving his tail in a side to side motion.
Little Lloyd then met Kolbe, who came over to play with him as well as to teach him about boundaries and assist him with his anxiety issues.

The tabby kitten quickly started mimicking Kolbe and followed him everywhere.
Lauren explains:
“Through play and the process of growing up together, kittens naturally pick up on boundaries and proper conduct from one another. Lloyd is a little bit of a crazy child since he is an orphan, a loner, and someone who is now developing a strong personality.

Lloyd looked extremely eager to learn despite his early age. Kolbe was always under his watch, and he followed Kolbe’s lead; he thoroughly loved playing with his new pal. Lauren used the diaper method to soothe the tense cat as Kolbe toured her the rooms and games of the house.
Assures her:
It is excellent for relaxing and socializing kittens.
