Cat Interrupts A Ballet Lesson To Receive Extra Attention From Mom

Amelia Love Clearheart was filming a ballet lesson for her students when an unexpected dancing partner appeared.
Aurora, Clearheart’s cat, heard the music start and ran to join in the excitement. Aurora is well aware that once her mother begins to dance, it is the ideal time for her to draw a bit additional attention to herself. However, with her mother’s new work-from-home lifestyle, this is not always optimal.

Clearheart told The Dodo, “Aurora is accustomed to going between my legs as I move around the home.” “She is particularly drawn to dancing movement, music, and the wonderful energy that emanates from it.”
Aurora began weaving between her mother’s legs while Clearheart displayed a dance routine, receiving a pat each time her mother dipped her pointed toes. “When Aurora was performing the weaving dance, I remember thinking, ‘They’re going to adore this,’” Clearheart added.
“Don’t worry, she enjoys to be kicked between my legs,” Clearheart said in the video to her pupils. “This is something she’s doing on purpose.”

The young kitten then did something her mother could not have predicted: she made a flying jump.
“She was very into it and wanted more engagement with my movement and with me,” Clearheart explained. “That’s when she leaped into my arms, perfectly timed to the music!” It was very unexpected, given that she had never done anything like it before.”

Clearheart and Aurora’s cute dance lesson may be seen here:
Aurora, now that she knows her mother will catch her, will not stop jumping into her mother’s arms anytime she sees her dance. And, while it isn’t usually the motion Clearheart is attempting to teach, it is the one she prefers.
“When she leaped into my arms, I was overcome with a sensation of warmth, love, and happiness,” Clearheart remarked. “I’m sure I’ve always wished for a cat to do something like that!” She’s such a nice and loving cat.”
