Holly, a loving cat, is searching for a new home after undergoing significant surgery in which a portion of her skull was removed. Holly was brought to England’s Llys Nini Animal Centre by a concerned citizen who discovered her with matted fur, an ear infection, and scabs all over her face.

“Holly, who is thought to be approximately 11 years old, was first brought to the facility as a stray,” Gary Weeks, manager of the Llys Nini Animal Centre, told The Dodo.
Holly was evaluated and found to have a large lump on one of her ears, which was subsequently proved to be cancerous.
It took almost a month to remove the tumor, which left Holly looking somewhat different but cancer-free. The senior cat now only needs one thing: a forever home.

Holly would do best as the only pet in her prospective household, but she has no other particular needs than love.
“We are optimistic that the right person with the perfect home will come forward – we specialize in happy endings,” a Llys Nini Animal Centre staff member told The Dodo.
