For the doggo in question began his relationship with his hooman sister on a low simmer. There was no instant love affair, he was not obsessed with her smell as a baby. They simply coexisted peacefully for a number of months. That is, until his hooman sister figured out the whole walking thing and slowly, but surely their relationship started to blossom and grow.

But even that level of warmth is nothing compared to what this courageous canine managed to pull out in his sister’s time of need.
