Are you thinking that felines are angels to babies? That they’re good with kids? Fortunately, a lot of cats are awesome with children. But not Rupert! He’s born a hater. He does not want to live with any children, don’t even ask why. He will attack your children for getting near him. He just won’t allow it, nope.

This was the first time Rupert met a child, he hates it and doesn’t want to get involved. “This is my cat’s first time meeting a baby. Our nephew just walked near Rupert, my cat. Rupert was having none of it. I’ve had this cat since he was born. Nothing bad has ever happened to cause this reaction. My cat is simply a hater. He hates everyone he meets.”
Rupert knows what works best, hissing to keep the children away!

This was four years later when the nephew came to visit again. He wanted to see if he would be able to pet Rupert this time. Rupert was quite okay with it from the start, but he wasn’t able to take it anymore. Rupert has demanded, he had enough. He does not care what you guys think. He wants the children out. Rupert’s all about boundaries.

Luckily for Rupert, someone wants to win his heart. Kayley, the daughter of the cat’s owner is up for the challenge! “My daughter really wants my cat Rupert (who hates kids) to like her.”, he said. These pictures show the bonding between Kayley and Rupert. We know that Rupert secretly loves her, and she might win Rupert’s heart in the end.

Here’s a video of Kayley trying to give food to Rupert. She really tries her best to get Rupert to like her, and she does not back down! However, Rupert is really a hard nut to crack.

Well, Rupert just really hates children. His power attack is hissing at them to assert dominance so that they’ll go away. That is all true, however, it is also true that we all know that deep down, Rupert’s life is much better with a daily dose of Kayley. I’m sure that her effort will be paid off in the future.
