Even with the temporary inconvenience of wearing a protective cone, Sawyer’s spirit remained undiminished. He turned every moment into an adventure, treating the cone as merely a minor detail in his exciting new life.
His curiosity knew no bounds – when he discovered another kitten’s playpen in the house, he immediately claimed the top as his personal observation deck, strutting along the rim like a tiny supervisor overseeing his domain.
Sawyer proved to be an exceptional patient throughout his recovery. Once freed from his cone, he celebrated with gleeful floor rolls and playful wrestling matches with anything in sight.
A small protective button covered his stitches, but it did nothing to dampen his enthusiasm for life and play.
After two weeks in foster care, Sawyer’s physical recovery was complete, but his personality continued to blossom.
He transformed into an energetic explorer, conquering cat trees with the grace of a seasoned climber and claiming window sills as his personal watchtowers.
