So, he came up with a plan. During playtime, he’d “accidentally” remind his owner that he still mattered. Maybe it was a paw placed just a little too firmly during fetch, or a playful bump that sent his owner stumbling. Nothing too serious, just enough to make them chuckle at Barry’s “clumsy” enthusiasm while they clean their clothes after being body slammed into the snow.

One of my earliest memories is of my dad coming to take me from grandma’s house and taking me to the hospital, I don’t remember the conversation on the way but I knew something big was happening.
