Often, the hooman and animal worlds are regarded as very separate and segregated. Which is understandable, seeing as the first thing you think about when imagining a city is likely not about all the animals who live alongside us hoomans in those cities. But the truth is that we have never lived more symbiotically than right at this moment. Darling doggos hoover up our leftovers, spiders take residence in our homes to catch unwanted flies and mosquitos, in certain parts of the world glorious geckos protect out homes from the scourge of flies and ants, and if you are really lucky you might have a fierce feline in your home guarding you from the tiny terror of mice.
So we wanted to show off the wonderful relationships us hoomans have had with animals which we collected and put in this list of wholesome moments from our shared existence with the aww-nimal kingdom to boost your mood.

This is one heck of a lucky canine. Just think how blessed you have to be born into the hooman world, introduced to the concept of Santa, learn to fantasize about his coming each year, only to one day actually meet the big man himself. That was most definitely this doggo’s day.
