  “I adopted the least approachable cat at the shelter. He was fearful, had been there for months, and was very aggressive toward people. After eight months of patience and nurturing, he’s transformed into the sweetest, most loving lap cat.”

  “Adopted the mean hissing swatting cat at the shelter a year ago. Here are progress pics.”

  

  “Apparently Chowder (Aka Ms. Squeaky Fluffy Butt) was an owner surrender & bounced around from a few shelters for being too aggressive. She never let any of the volunteers give her treats, pet her, or get near her in general. When I met her, they let me try to give her a treat too but she was quick to hiss and swat my hand. It took her a few months to get comfortable at home, but now she is the most cuddly, chirping, trilling, barking, loving and affectionate cat…”

  “It’s my adopted baby’s first (estimated) birthday!”

  

  “I can’t believe my baby girl Jiji is already one years old! We absolutely love her to death! She got lots of treats and toys for her birthday and of course got to sleep in her favorite place – my pillow all night. Swipe for her progression! We got her at 7 months oldish from the shelter!”

  “Adopted this boy yesterday. Let him out of the carrier, he ran off, and haven’t seen him since.”

  

  “This is the only pic I have of him. I’ll be patient with him… I suspect he’s in the basement. I took a dish of the food he was fed at the shelter, the water bubbler, and a just-opened can of tuna. I don’t want him to be hungry or dehydrated. Everything is open and I’m leaving some lights on.”

  “This is Killian, he’s almost three months old and the love of my life. Some of my friends think he looks part Maine Coon, his ears are to die for – very unsure how big he’ll get, but for now he’s just a munchkin.”

  “We adopted Pixel after losing our previous cat to cancer. Someone had left her in the middle of nowhere and a family found her living in their greenhouse and called a rescue centre . She’s the sweetest little thing”

  “Earlier this year I shared some photos of my foster friend Finn. I am happy to share that he has been adopted! It took just under a year for him to get adopted. For some cats it can take longer and that hurts my heart. Even if you can’t directly foster a pet looking for a forever home, many organizations would love your support and donations to buy food and supplies to keep fosters safe and healthy.”
