One day, Finn spotted something moving in her yard. It was a little kitty that had somehow wandered in and I guess liked the look of it.
Finn and her fiancé live in a rural area so they had no idea where the cat had originally come from.

So they started leaving food for her on their porch and named her Charlie. She was very skittish and wary of human company but they kept their distance until she became used to them.
After a while they noticed a small bulge on her belly – it was obvious that she was pregnant. Both agreed that it was up to them to make sure that Charlie stayed healthy and had enough food.

As her pregnancy progressed she became more friendly to the couple, she had realised that they were both there to help her.
She had an endearing habit of scaling up the screen door when it was time to be fed – very cute indeed!

Winter was approaching and the nights were becoming cold but Charlie still wasn’t confident enough to enter the house.
That’s when Finn had the idea of putting out a heat lamp for her and she loved it. It was her new favorite place.

All was well until Charlie disappeared, she had gone off to find somewhere to have her babies. But she appeared on the porch a few days later looking for her food.
Finn discreetly watched Charlie through the window to see where she was heading after she had eaten. They had no need to worry because Charlie had chosen underneath their porch as the safest place for her litter of kittens.

When spring arrived so did the kittens!
Two tabbies like their mom and one black and white – all three were extremely cute.

Finn and her fiancee felt very privileged, Charlie had decided it was time for them all to meet.
