Pawrent Surprises Lonely Pup ‘Walter’ With a New BFF, ‘Maple Rose’, Who They Rescued From a Breeding Mill and Now Lives the Love-Filled Life of Her Dreams

As a pawrent, we can only hope we can change the lives of animals in need one adoption at a time. We might think we can’t possibly support another furry rascal, but the truth is that having another catto or doggo in the house increases our happiness tenfold. There are other factors at play, always—but if a kind hooman wants a new pup, a new pup they will get! 

The sweet pawrent in this story already had a little furry upper named Walter, who they love dearly. But, two is always better than one when we’re talking about animals, and this hooman agrees. So, they decided to surprise Walter with a new best furry friend who he could live the rest of his life loving. This new pupper’s name is Maple Rose and the shelter they adopted her from rescued her from a breeding mill. She had a rough first three and a half years, but this pawrent decided to rewrite her story. This is a classic adopt-don’t-shop story, but every time we see one, the heartwarming wholesomeness feels the exact same. Since living together, Walter and Maple Rose have become the best of friends, and Walter has been teaching her “what it is to be a dog” outside of a bad situation.
