Hoooooowwwwwwwwwwwww! That’s us, howling at the moon because it’s Halloween and if there was any time to howl at the moon, it would be now.
We’re here to introduce you to your canine costume contest champion this Howl-O-Ween, Chipie! Chipie joined us last weekend at Boris & Horton for Cheezburger’s Pet Portrait series where we hosted a furbulous and spooky costume contest for the best-dressed pups of NYC. From over 35 boo-tiful doggos and several days of voting, they came out on top as the fan favorite (and rightfully so). They dressed up as Sherlock Pawlmes, and it was love as first sight!
Chipie was a gift from her owner’s pawrents. Her mother went to the pet shop in Puerto Rico and saw this adorable Maltese just sitting in the window. That particular day happened to be her future owner’s birthday, and she felt it was a sign to bring her daughter a fluffy surprise. The rest is history!
