Walking your furry friend isn’t just a chore; it’s a joyful experience that benefits both of you. Have you noticed how their excitement builds the moment you mention a walk? It’s like they’re grinning from ear to ear! Walks make them happy—they get to sniff out new adventures and, most importantly, cherish that special time with you. Research even suggests that solo dog walkers share a deeper bond with their pets
Take Reddit user nana_banana2, for example. She and her furry companion live in a serene neighborhood with ample green spaces to explore. But there’s one particular path they adore: a tranquil route lined with trees and a picturesque lake on one side. However, their recent encounter with a neighbor questioning their use of the path left her puzzled. She’s seeking advice to confirm if her actions were justified.

1. AITA for walking your dog in a public place? Why is this even a question?
2. OP likes to walk her dog on a particular path that has fenced houses on one side, except one, and water on the other.
3. One time while OP was walking her dog on that path, a woman from that unfenced house came out for a confrontation.
4. The woman didn’t like OP walking her dog on that path. OP was confused as it was public property, and ideally, the neighbor shouldn’t have any problem with that.
5. The neighbor agreed that it was public property but still the dog and OP disrupted her peace so she didn’t want them to walk there.
6. When OP said she would continue to walk her dog on the said path because she wasn’t breaking any law, the woman got angry and called OP rude.
Is this dummy even listening to herself? Her entitlement is on another level. She said it was a public property. She rested her case there and then. You cannot argue about public properties. You either have to own that public property, which is not possible, or you have to be really dr*nk to pose such demands.
OP, keep walking your furry friend on that path. If she has a problem, she can have her garden fenced or move out.

7. OP didn’t spare her and told her to move somewhere else if she didn’t like people using “public” property in the neighborhood.
8. 2 to 3 times is not much at all. The neighbor could never do anything about this. However, OP took the matter to the courts of the AITA community to know if what she did was right or not.
