There’s nothing better than starting your week with a healthy helping of happy animals, right? Neigh-sayers will say otherwise, but we’re a huge proponent of wholesome animals as a way to get you ready to tackle another long work week. Lucky for you, this happy horse should do just the trick! You won’t have to jump over any fences to get some happy hormones from this, they’ll come prancing as soon as you see it! Here’s the backstory: this horse was kept in a city without any access to nature for two years, basically from right after it was born.

The horse was finally released into a pasture for the first time and its euphoria is palpable! The happy horsy runs around, jumping from excitement, and rolls around in the grass as a sign of its happiness. We can’t help but smile at this awwdorable animal video, and we think you’re going to love it too!

We get crazy if we don’t go outside for a week because of crazy rain/weather, we can’t imagine not feeling free outside for two years, especially as a horse! It must be like a human trying to live on the moon.

laurenphelps09 This is how all the horses are treated in Charleston and it's infuriating. They are kept in little carriage houses in the city and never get freedom. Stop supporting these stupid carriage rides people.

concertphotogirl This is one of the reasons I hate those stupid horse drawn carriages in NYC and other big cities... they belong here!

nunpancakes Don't support tourist activities involving animals in urban environments. I would only pay the guys on bikes, stop paying for animals while on vacation and this will stop.
