Cat Has The Sweetest Reaction To Seeing His Late Best Friend’s Lock Of Hair

For the most of their lives, Alesana and Sen shared a home and were close friends. They were together all the time, embracing and having fun, but they particularly enjoyed washing each other’s ears. Until Alesana was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 8 and tragically went suddenly on Christmas morning the previous year, the pair’s relationship was unshakable.

A family may find it challenging to convey to their cat the loss of her closest buddy and the fact that she will no longer be in their lives.

Sen’s family watched in anguish as their 4-year-old kitty lamented the loss of her dearest buddy as the days went by following Alesana’s passing.

Sen’s mother, Emma Pearce, said to The Dodo:

“I believe Sen realizes she has left. She frequently spends hours gazing out of the window beside my front door. Additionally, she roams the residence in search of the spaces where Alesana was frequently seated.

When Alesana’s ashes, footprints, and a piece of hair were given to the family, Emma came up with a plan to assist Sen in coping with her grief.

Sen’s response was the cutest thing ever when she wanted to show him Alesana’s hair.

Says Emma

He began kissing Alesana’s fur and caressing her face as soon as he noticed it.

Her mother believed that by revealing the hair to Sen, she would be able to comprehend what had occurred and finally go on. Sen seemed to recognize the hair as belonging to her deceased closest friend immediately once.
