Jaelle, a resident of Quebec City, Canada, was taken aback one Valentine’s Day when an orange cat showed up in her backyard and began pounding on the door to be allowed inside.

The woman claims that she had never seen the cat skulking around in her area and that her health had moved her.

Winter was at its strongest at the moment, so Jaelle, a volunteer for One Cat At A Time, instantly unlocked the entrance for the kitten to enter.

The cat seemed to be pretty unwell, was starving, filthy, and somewhat thin.

She requested assistance from Marie Simard, the organization’s founder. Even though she was aware that the facility could not accept adult cats, she still felt compelled to attempt to assist him and sent him pictures of the animal.

“As soon as I saw the picture, my heart shattered, and I ordered him to bring him for examination to our partner facility. His expression spoke for itself.

After being brought to the clinic, a number of tests were conducted to identify several ailments that required rapid treatment.

He tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus, along with having a lot of fleas, sores all over his body, bites, decayed teeth, diabetes, and some respiratory issues.

He was nevertheless able to express his gratitude to his carers despite his situation.

“He treated the clinic staff with a lot of kindness. At the veterinarian, he would remove his paw from the cage so that others may pat him.
