Here’s the cutest story of six cute rescued kittens from Brooklyn who are turning heads!
Rescuers at the Brooklyn Cat Cafe have achieved something funny, getting a group of six kittens to look at the camera in unison as they gazed left and right. As always, there’s one that doesn’t seem to have the hang of it. However, anyone who has tried to take a group photo of cats knows this doesn’t happen very often. It’s like the expression “herding kittens,” it’s a flat-out impossibility.
The video below is right up there with the stunning photos from Seattle kitten rescuer Ashley Morrison, who manages to regularly take stunning group kitten photos somehow, each little face looking at the camera.

The rescued kittens are called The Clock Cuties, all with names for timepieces.
The tongue-in-cheek post about coaching a “kitten synchronized head tilt team” is a moment of lightness that went viral on the cafe’s Instagram. It’s just one example of many that show how creative these volunteer rescuers are at New York City’s only non-profit cat cafe. Although rescues and shelters everywhere are under strain with the numbers of animals needing saving, there are daily moments of comic relief from the furbabies.
Brooklyn Synchronized Head Title Team
“For those of you who have never coached a kitten synchronized head tilt team before, it’s definitely not for the faint of heart,” the Brooklyn Cat Cafe shared. “It takes patience, perseverance, determination and an incredible amount of luck. Fortunately for us, the clock cuties Cuckoo, Pocket, Sundial, Swatch, Atomic and Wind-up take their names very seriously and have been practicing their tick-tocking constantly. Next up for them? Telling time.”
Soon, the Clock Cuties will be looking for forever homes in pairs. B0ut for now, they are practicing their routine in foster care. For kittens abandoned on the city streets, they are fortunate to be among the few lucky ones.
Synchronized Licking
Another litter of kittens earned creative names, Cut, Copy, Paste and Undo. They are the second litter rescued from a feral cat who managed to elude capture until recently. But now, she is spayed as part of TNR efforts (trap, neuter, return) and won’t have more kittens that require saving. While they are in foster care, they are practicing synchronized licking.
“Despite their names, Cut, Copy, Paste and Undo are doing their best to stay original. Their mom eluded rescuers after they snagged her last litter of kittens (identical to this bunch), but she was finally trapped, spayed and returned bringing this broken record to an end. What do you think, will you remember these four?”
As you can see below, the kittens had a different kind of synchronized event this time. While two licked from the faucet, their siblings decided to get in on all the licking too!
Brooklyn Kittens: Dorothy, Scarecrow, and Tinman
Another litter of kittens earned Wizard of Oz-inspired names after TNR rescuer Latonya “Sassee” Walker saved them. Sassee worked with people caring for the kittens and their mama cat in a backyard, catching the entire family. Previously, we shared another story where this Brookly rescuer saved another entire family of cats, including blind kitty Sinker.
This time, Sassee saved three cute tabby kitten munchkins: Dorothy, Scarecrow, and Tinman. Then, she was able to bring along their mama Elphaba too!
“Have you ever felt stuck in a strange and unfamiliar place? These three brilliant tabbies (Dorothy, Scarecrow and Tinman) were being cared for in a backyard with their mom Elphaba. Despite having a congenital malformation of her front legs, Elphaba took great care of her kittens. Their caretakers reached out and worked with a trapper (thanks Sassee ) to rescue the whole family. Although they’re all safe and sound and doing well, there’s no place like a foster home!” The Brooklyn Cat Cafe shared.
Undeniably, kittens like these are among the cutest living things on Earth, and rescues and shelters always need people to offer foster care.
