A 17-year-old cat was taken away from the only home she knew because there are individuals in the world who, when they see their pet in its latter years, feel they cannot care for it and would dump it or send it to a shelter.

The elderly kitty Kaelle was taken away from her family because they no longer cared for her; at the time, she was unhappy and bewildered and had no idea what had happened. Kaelle kept her head down the entire time she was being examined by a veterinarian since she was in an unfamiliar location and was completely distraught.

Every time the shelter personnel checked on her wellbeing, they made an effort to uplift her and reassure her that she was secure with them. The kitten, however, continued to be unable to comprehend what was occurring or, it seemed, why her family had abandoned her here.

Kaelle’s predicament really grieved the team of Chatons Orphelins Montréal, the cat rescue group based in Montreal, Canada, and they immediately took action. The volunteers immediately started seeking for a foster home to take care of and cherish the cat.

Kaelle was in good shape for her age. She was quite amiable and let the veterinary staff to inspect her at the clinic without objecting.

When Amandine, one of the group’s foster volunteers, learned that Kaelle need a foster home, she volunteered to assist right away. Without giving it any thought, the woman brought the cat home since she wanted to ensure that she was comfortable.

Initially very reserved, Kaelle rushed to her foster mother to ask for a pet as soon as she heard her name.

He then made the decision to look around every inch of his new house, and after that, he returned to Amandine to ask for more cuddles. The adorable kitty was obviously overjoyed to get affection once more since she purred herself to sleep in her brand-new bed.

The lovely kitten with the two additional digits decided to act naturally after she understood she was in her new place.
