Animals have always taught us that we must approach life with the bravery to succeed, as illustrated by a young cat with bent legs who learnt to walk with the assistance of her mother.

At a California state animal shelter, a tabby cat gave birth to a litter of five kittens. Unfortunately, one of the kittens in the litter, Dove, was born with her front legs bent inside, making it difficult for her to move about.

The kittens and their feline mother were then taken to Oregon Friends Of Shelter Animals, where they were greeted by a foster family.

Dove was the tiniest of the newborns, and her crooked legs made it difficult for her to defend herself against her siblings when it came time to eat. As a result, Angela made sure Dove spent a lot of time alone with her mother, allowing her to freely feed from her.

Dove began to gain weight and vigor as a result of Angela’s innovative feeding technique, and she was making good progress.

They supported her recovery with physical therapy and other stretching exercises to strengthen her mobility while the beautiful kitten got better every day.

Angela had this to say:

“He warmed up his front legs, softly rubbed them, and stretched them.”

Dove has always showed herself to be a compassionate person, snuggling into Angela’s hands after a stretching exercise.
